As 2018 draws to a close and 2019 beckons, many people in business take time to reflect on their past successes and future opportunities.
We are no different at HNH.
When reflecting on what is important to us, the focus is quickly drawn to our team.
All clichés aside, without our team, HNH could not deliver the quality and breadth of service we do to our loyal and growing client base.
We now have 27 people (including Mary, our awesome cleaner) working within our business.
As I sit here and reflect on 2018, I look at each and every one of my colleagues with immense pride.
During the course of the year, we have liaised with clients with a wide degree of challenges and opportunities, which is synonymous with the economy at present.
How the team conduct themselves in challenging times for their clients is as important as their role in swiftly acting upon an exciting new opportunity for a client.
When I look at the team, I see real people with their own stories.
A team fully committed to their own personal lives and the challenges that it brings to us all, the highs and lows, and using those positive and negative experiences to assist in building HNH and advising our clients.
A team who create an environment which is genuinely fun to be a part of and warm to new colleagues from different backgrounds and countries.
As we approach 2019, I’m confident that the team around the office at HNH will assist each other and our clients to navigate the likely volatile trading environment many of our clients will operate in.
I have said this before and I will say it again: Do the right thing with the right people in the right way and the right thing will happen.
