History

  • Harry has worked within deal advisory roles within the Scottish market for over 20 years, acting both as an advisor, retained board consultant and latterly adopting a dual role with client portfolio responsibilities. He has advised public sector bodies, companies and management across a range of sectors and scale of business, from early stage business and grant review, due diligence to assisting the expansion of those with an international manufacturing presence. In addition to his transactional advisory role, he has performed a number of financial review and diligence roles for investors and public finance bodies, as well as acting for a number of property related businesses, both as adviser previously within his role as a banker.

Profile

  • Harry has acted for a major EU timber group for a number of years, acting on various strategic purchases to extend their manufacturing base and service offering in the UK and Europe. In addition, he has an active role within the Scottish Food & Drink and broader Consumer Goods sector, with retained roles with businesses within food ingredient manufacturing and craft brewing, in addition to past roles advising distilling, dairy, drinks and toiletries sector. Harry is an experienced M&A advisor, performing an active ‘hands on’ role within the transactions on which he advises, having recently guided the Management team on the buyout of R&W Scott from AIM listed Real Good Food plc.
